Membership & Contacts

Membership of the Club is by invitation and usually follows an initial introduction to play in a fixture of the Club by an existing member. The guest should be known to the member and not just an acquaintance. The guest's participation should be co-ordinated by the existing member with the Match Manager. A very short bio/summary of the guest is helpful for the Match Manager to circulate to others in his team for the day.

The Club remains a touring Club with all its fixtures in mid week. New members will be expected to follow that tradition and be available/willing to play accordingly in some (not all) tours.

The old requirement of being an Oxford or Cambridge ex Rugby player of some distinction (but not a Blue) is not rigidly adhered to, even if still preferred. But new members should ideally have some sporting prowess with a background from Oxbridge being preferred. A reasonable, but not low, handicap proficiency in Golf is expected.

Enquiries can be made to today's membership via their Clubs as shown above. Invitations to join are usually made in October/November at the end of the playing season.
